Our kennels are available in a variety of sizes and we always book your dog into the most suitable sized kennel. Our standard sized kennel is suitable for most breeds, even for two same household dogs to share. We also have one extra large family sized kennel. This is great for large household groups or just extra large pooches like Great Danes or Dog De Bordeaux's! 

Each kennel is tiled inside, with bedding to suit your dogs size and needs. They have individual heat lamps over the bedding area. Your dog will also have access to an outside covered run. This is accessible by a hatch opening in the kennel. The outside run is covered for protection from the rain and sun and gives the dogs space to move around and see what is going on around them. During the night the hatch is closed down to keep the dogs calm, safe and warm during winter.

We clean our kennels daily with a pet safe, biodegradable, cruelty free disinfectant which kills all viruses including kennel cough. 

Your dog will always be provided with fresh water and we also have raised feeders available for large breeds. 

All of our guests are exercised a minimum of twice daily according to their needs. We are also happy to get young dogs or high energy dogs out more frequently. They are walked first thing in the morning whilst a member of our team is cleaning. Midday playtime and then again later in the afternoon. The dogs are either placed into one of our fenced grass runs to be off lead or they are walked on an extendable lead up and round our field. It is our policy that we DO NOT MIX NON HOUSEHOLD dogs together. We also have a sensory garden where we can sit quietly with nervous dogs, or just have cuddles with those who need it!

We provide two varieties of adult dry biscuits. Both options are hypoallergenic, Chicken and rice which is free from wheat. The other is Duck and sweet Potato. Both of these are UK made. 

We also stock chappie, pedigree meat and Butchers simply gentle. We offer this if requested, or to encourage slow eaters to eat or to help with administering medication! We feed all our dogs twice daily unless instructed otherwise by the owner.

We are able to administer all medications but we do not accept diabetic dogs. We keep Medication record charts which are signed as and when medications are administered by the staff member. 

We are able to accept food from home if your pet is on a specific diet which we don't provide.

Bedtime biscuits are always given out as an end of day treat and also a positive reinforcement to the dog. We also give out stuffed kongs and also kong wobblers as enrichment.

If you wish to enquire about booking your dog into our kennels you can send your enquiry by email. We will ask you to complete an admission and consent form and we ask that your dog is up to date with vaccinations or has had a titre test showing immunity. The kennel cough vaccination is not mandatory.

 

We also invite you to do a trial stay to ensure your dogs suitability to the environment. It is at our discretion to politely decline a dog if they are deemed unsuitable by the team. This would be things like being too anxious/severe separation anxiety, bite risk, kennel guarding, stress barking (continuously barking, which in turn stresses our other guests). We would always suggest a local dog trainer to help with these issues to hopefully make boarding possible.
